
North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains offer a variety of festivals throughout the year. Most festivals occur in the spring season with the Fourth of July is rush hour. It should be noted that there are many festivals that also occur in December.

Blue Ridge Mountain Adventure Race, April
This race is held annually in April. For this race of 80 mixed teams of three hike, mountain bike, kayak and run Chattahoochee National Forest. The race starts in the Chattahoochee National Forest and ends in downtown Blue Ridge City Park, where the competitors were greeted with music, lunch and finish line.
Cinco de Mayo Festival McCaysville-Copperhill – May:
The Cinco de Mayo Festival is held annually in May What makes this festival unique (and fun) is the food, music and dance that takes place in Bridge Street between McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN.
Art in the Park Blue Ridge – Memorial Weekend Day:
Blue Ridge City Park is the site of more than 200 arts, crafts and food stalls every weekend from Memorial Day. Art in the Park is a great demonstration of crafts, mountain fine arts, music and dance, and was recognized as one of 20 corporate events southeast of tourism.
Veterans Day in the city of Blue Ridge – Saturday closest to July 4
This celebration includes a parade in downtown Blue Ridge. It is a great place to be for food, crafts, ice cream and entertainment.
Fireworks on Lake Blue Ridge Marina – in or near July 4:
During the afternoon is a great place for music and food. At night, people love fireworks on Lake Blue Ridge.
Concerts in the Park, Park City of Blue Ridge – July and August:
This place is a good source of music in a beautiful setting on warm nights summer. Bring your own quilt or lawn chair and picnic dinner and enjoy the music.
Blue Ridge Kiwanis Rodeo August -:
This rodeo West is fun for all ages. Rodeo has bull riding, saddle bronco riding, calf roping, bareback, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing and other special events.
Labor Day BBQ, Labor Day in downtown Blue Ridge
This annual barbecue in downtown Blue Ridge Park City starts at 11 am and continue until the food runs out.
Wildlife Arts Festival, Park City of Blue Ridge – September:
The Wildlife Festival includes information from the Forest Service, fly fishing demonstrations, food and entertainment. There are more than 75 artists in site selling carvings, paintings and wood.
Family Fishing Festival, Chattahoochee National Fish Culture, September

Sale Mountain harvest weekend Blue Ridge Farmers Market – 3 and 4 October:
Mountain Harvest Sale features local arts, crafts, food and fun at two separate weekends in October.
Halloween safety zone, Blue Ridge Center
Blue Ridge Center, the main street is closed and children of all ages Trick or Treat from store to store.
Holiday Art Show & Sale – November-December:
Arts and crafts shop in the regional Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association Thanksgiving through Christmas.
Light up Blue Ridge, Downtown Blue Ridge, Saturday after Thanksgiving:
See the official lighting of the Christmas tree and see Santa Claus arrives. The Christmas party in downtown Blue Ridge, including music, refreshments, songs and all daily activities.
Hometown Christmas, first Saturday of McCaysville Center – December:
See the bridge in McCaysville lighting, GA. The parade included the arrival of Santa Claus, food, refreshments and entertainment.
Blue Ridge Christmas Express Railway tourist – Weekends in December:
Bring your kids to the party in the Blue Ridge train and see Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and elves. Hear stories and Christmas stories and songs to sing.
